How to delete your DELF Prep account

In the app

1. Open the DELF Prep app and sign in.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Choose Delete account.
4. Type DELETE to confirm, and enter your password if your account has one.

On the website

1. Sign in at delfprep.com.
2. Open Settings and scroll to Delete account.
3. Choose Delete my account, type DELETE, and enter your password if your account has one.
4. If you signed in with Google or Apple, you may be asked to sign in again first. This protects your account.

What is deleted

• Your account, name, email address and sign-in details.
• Your exam attempts, answers, scores and study progress.
• Your writing submissions, speaking recordings and transcripts, and the AI feedback on them.
• Your email preferences and any feedback you sent us from your account.
• Any web subscription is cancelled so you are not billed again.

What we keep

• Payment and invoice records. Our payment processors (Stripe, Apple and Google) keep them, including the billing email, because tax law requires it. Our own records of those payments keep no name or email, only an internal id.
• Anything we are legally required to retain.

We do not keep an unsubscribe record. Our email provider may keep its own suppression list for bounced or unsubscribed addresses, which we do not control.

Subscriptions bought in the App Store or Google Play

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through Apple or Google. Cancel it in the store first, or you will keep being billed.
