Your page only has to survive a minute. A shorthand you can read back, connectors kept whole, and three zones drawn before the audio.

Fix a French shorthand system you can read back without hesitating.
Shorten the content words while every linking word stays on the page.
Mark the relation in your notes: an arrow for a consequence, ≠ for an opposition, = for a restatement.
Split your scratch paper into three zones so a figure is never lost mid-page.
Copy the loaded words out of the questions, then listen for their synonyms.
