The listening paper, move by move
Thirty minutes, three exercises, twenty items. The recording sets the pace, so learn what each play is for before you sit down.
By the end of this lesson
- Lay out the three CO exercises with their item counts, their points and their number of plays.
- Spend the reading time on the items, and mark the one that looks hardest.
- Give the first play and the second play two different jobs.
- Work Exercise 3, where each short document is played once and never comes back.
- Apply the four rules that hold across every item on the paper.
- Build listening stamina with a weekly routine on ordinary French radio.
