Catching dates, numbers and sigles
A figure goes past in a second. Catch it with the thing it counts, then see how the two wrong options are built out of what you half-heard.
By the end of this lesson
- Tell a sigle spelled out letter by letter from an acronyme said as a word.
- Pick up the full name of a set of initials from the sentence that introduces it.
- Write a figure and the thing it counts in one movement, in digits.
- Hear the small words that shift a value: environ, près de, plus de, à peine.
- Read the three options first, then work out which figure each one has moved.
